One more time!
For some reason my post has been turned around into a racial post. If you re-read my post I did not mention any thing about race at all. I could care less what race someone is. If Mr. Obama had been pink with purple polka dots so what. As I have thought about it over the last week my biggest concern WAS experience or lack there of. But apparently the American public think he is well capable of the job. I NOW say lets see where he will take us and go from there. I believe he will try to do great things, but it will not be easy. This country is such a mess now it could only take an act of God to fix it, and maybe just maybe Mr. Obama is that act. That is my final word on this subject!

Who said race was the issue? I was u nder the supposition that religion might be an issue. Remember, I said, "might". You said your father was a racist and hinted that maybe Megan's opinions were tained by listening to his racists remarks. You told your readers that if they believed in God they would understand your plight. Well, I think most of your readers believe in God and we still don't understand. Because you have not explained how belief in God should affect our understanding, I suggested that there are some Christians who hide their racism behind their Christianity and asked you to examine your thoughts and heart. I did NOT say YOU were a racist. But unless y ou can e xplain how belief in God will help us understand you anxiety and confustion or the radio station's disappointment, we have to presume it might be amout race or the rumors that President-elect Obama was a Muslim. Or perhaps iut was about his membership in an Afrocentric church. Please help us understand.
